The managing principal of RVG ASSOCIATES LTD. is Ron Garnes. In addition to our internal resources, Mr. Garnes brokers external resources through teaming, subcontracting and other business relationships. These relationships expand our capabilities and provide our clients up‑to‑date solutions to their ever growing business needs. Mr. Garnes has over 37 years experience of business development expertise in every aspect of the computer industry, and over 25 years experience with the GSA Schedule. Mr. Garnes has been an integral part of the sales and marketing strategies of companies such as Planning Research Corporation, Dun and Bradstreet, Computer Sciences Corporation, National Computer Systems, Hadron, Western Union, Telecommunications Industries, Inc. and Valcom. Mr. Garnes has managed, developed, and implemented strategic sales and marketing efforts for over 15 years. Mr. Garnes has been active as a Government Relations specialist, negotiating and lobbying to Congress, GSA, etc. for more favorable industry regulations. Mr. Garnes has served as Financial Consultant to other related industries and has managed and operated a Commodity Pool for outside investors. Mr. Garnes' memberships, past and present, include the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the National Council of Technical Service Industries, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, the American Small Business Coalition, the Washington Network Group, the President's Roundtable, the National Association of Market Developers, the International Association of Business and Financial Consultants, the National Association for the Self‑Employed, the American Entrepreneur Association, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, and Who's Who in the South and Southwest. Mr. Garnes attended the University of Dayton from 1965 to 1969, majoring in Industrial Engineering, supplemented by studies in computer science, engineering and business at the University of Maryland.
